I'm feeling sort of crabby today so please for give my lack of enthusaism in my post. Dont ask me why I'm feeling crabby. I'm just plain annoyed at home.
Where did I stop last time? Day 3, rite? Now it's day 4.
Day 4
I went out with my buddy and Jo. We went to 拙正园 where the view was magnificent!!!! The story behind it was that there was an official, who thought he wasn't cut out to do politics.He built the garden in such a way that it was grand but everyone was not allowed to view it. There are false mountians everywhere to block the view of visitors cause in ancient China, if the place of anyone was more grand than the emperor, he would have to go through investigations and would probably be jailed. The official also built a building in the shape of a dragon but the dragon's tail was larger than the head to hide the fact that his building was in the shape of an animal that is supposed to be for the emperor only. Afterwards we went to my buddy's house to have lunch. I love the crabs!!!! It was plain delicious!
We went to a street called 观前街 for shopping after lunch. I love shopping there. The stuff are so cheap!!! I spent 187 rmb. Ate loads of stuff too. I love the mutton kebab. It's something you cant find in Singapore.
Day 5
We went to some other primary sch there. had one english lesson there. Not as boring. Then one chinese lesson there. And one really boring calligraphy lesson. The boys nearly fell asleep. And they were sitting next to mrs chan!!! How???? We took a tour of the school after lunch. Lunch was nice esp the prawns!!!
Day 6
Went to the industrial park of suzhou and singapore. Also went to bai ting botanical garden. I took loads of pics at the garden. The flowers were sooooooo beautiful. And there are wells where if you put your hand where all the steam comes out, you can see tiny water droplets on the hairs of your hand.
Day 7
Last day there at suzhou. Went to carefour and a bookshop. Bought chewing gum and books and more souvieners of ppl. Not much to talk about. We had a party that nite. Played truth or dare. Not revealing details bout the game.
Day 8
Bought stuff at the airport for ppl. went home and found out how warm singapore is. Not much to talk bout too.
