I got loads to type about.First day of school, orientation camp, CCA fair and a hell load of other random-slightly-connected stuff. So im gonna cut it short, make it brief.
1st day.
Got lost. Or slightly lost. Was a bit late cause there was a traffic jam outside of the school. Didn't eat alot cause the recess on that day was right after the safety talk so sec 1-4 is all cramped together in this canteen that looks small when you do that. Found out that the friend of my other friend,Sarah(met when we went to the selection test for DSA) is in my class.Her name is Wan Ting and she comes from Fuchun Pri. I sit next to her now. My PSLs are Shermaine(sec 4) Adeline,Elizabeth and Xinling (sec 3s) Love em'!!! They are the best PSLs one class can ever get. Good Luck for O levels, Shermaine!Met my form teacher, Mr Seth Tan(Werewolf in Twilight. Muhahaha)He is teaching us History.For Monday till Wednesday we had lessons. Or actually, we met our subject teachers and did some briefing,housekeeping stuff and other miscellanous stuff.
Orientation camp.
On thursday, We learnt the family dance,Went for Talent Discovery,and learnt some campfire songs.
On Friday, It was the day of the camp. Our camp commandant was damn strict sia!!!! The punishment for any thing done wrong was to do the chicken dance. But my class a bit siao, do the chicken dance for fun for like 3 times. Dunno for what.Made our class cheer. We had like 5 or 7. Our campfire item was all our class cheer joined together plus a short verse the ponyo advertistment and doraemon.1 Diligence won " Most Determined" Class award but we wanted most enthu!!!Slept in the hall which we tot it was going to be hot but actually it was freezing cold.
Sat CCA fair. Went for almost all the booths except for a few cause we got no time.Ate at the hawker nearby with my parents and bought BBQ meat from a shop nearby there. The BBQ meat very nice. cause it was traditionally grilled. :)
Monday First lesson of 3rd lang.The teacher was quite intimadating.She randomly chooses ppl and tells them to speak in french. Which makes me and my friend xinyi ti xin diao dan and having our fingers crossed that she doesnt choose us. She's a good teacher, i suppose. We learnt a lot on our first lesson. Bonjour, medamoiselles! (Or at least its the pronuanciation of the plural of madamoiselles which meaning is 'ladies')And not leaving out the guys, Bonjour, missuia(Again, it's just the pronuaciation for the plural of monsieurs which meaning is guys).
Tue,Wed,Thurs CCA Auditions. Did Infocomm,Chinese cultural society,Girl Guides,DEBATE!!(Go Debate!). On Wed i didn't go to any CCA auditions cause its all sports.
Friday(Yesterday) Learning Journey to CHIJMES at victoria street. Turns out it was the old premises of CHIJ Victoria Girls School( Present day St nicks) and CHIJ Victoria Street(Present day CHIJ toa payoh). Learnt that CHIJ has been in Singapore for 155 years. Older than Ai Tong. While St nicks is 76 years old this year. Learnt loads about the history of the IJ sisters and St nicks.
Today. I am getting my bursary award for the 6th year straight.Then I'll be going for my maternal side's reunion dinner!
